Gay-owned heath & beauty spa Minahasa has expanded to two floors and offers a variety of professional treatments in private, air-conditioned rooms. There are at least five therapists onsite most of the time – all trained and certified.
We tried this spa for the first time in June 2016. Lee Yan is an expert at the tantric massage, closely followed by Yogi. If you call to book, there are quite often language difficulties in making sure you book the right person. One time we booked Lee Yan and turned up to find he was not there that day (away shooting a movie!!!!), and ended up with a sub-standard masseuse. But two out of the three times we visited Minahasa, it was good.
It's located a bit further out of Seminyak/Kerobokan to most other spas. It's close to Depo Bangunan supermarket.
