Skip The Line Eiffel Tower Tour.
We really loved this tour. Our guide Mel from Melbourne was awesome. Very informative and made the tour fun with a great sense of humour.
Skipping the line was the bonus. Bypassing people queuing for over 30 mins or more. You visit both level one and two plus your ticket includes access to the summit at the very top of the tower. Everyone else had to queue again to purchase tickets to the summit.
All levels have different views, level two is the most popular, with great views all around Paris. Mel pointed out land marks with historical information and was always open to questions. We left our guide at level two to go to the summit, it’s amazing how the view changed again, you must have a glass of champagne from the champagne bar, although its not cheap (12€), you are on top of the Eiffel Tower!
We then headed back down to level one which was under renovation, the function room shows the changes that are being made to the Eiffel Tower. We sat at the bar for around 2 hours watching the sun set over Paris whilst enjoying a few beers. Just magic.
As the sun sets the tower changes in front of you and comes alive with lighting. It’s so beautiful at night. We were told to watch the twinkle lights from Trocadero which is on the other side of the river bank to the Eiffel Tower. It gives you an amazing full view of the tower in all its glory.
I know this tour is expensive against the general admission ticket price (approx 80€ per person) however not having to queue, great information and the summit made this the most fun day.
